Startup C-Tec wants to become benchmark platform for bicycle users
The Brussels’ enterprise network Réseau Entreprendre connects laymen to experienced entrepreneurs to help them develop their company. Startup C-Tec is taking part and hopes to become the benchmark platform for bicycle users in Belgium.
C-Tec joins the new edition of the growth program created by Réseau Entreprendre Brussels. “We have the ambition to become the benchmark platform offering management and support to all of those who are using a bicycle”, resumes CEO of C-Tec Mobility Solutions, Michel Lagasse.
C-Tec was created in June 2016 and works on three major activities: commercial distribution for some bicycle brands, personalized advice and support for buying a bicycle and, finally, retail and leasing of bicycles for companies.
Grow in parallel with the market
Michel Lagasse previously worked for Michelin and D’Ieteren and his startup company can already count some major clients (Belfius, GSK, Solvay, IBA, Athlon, etc.) but, according to him, taking part in this program will help the company’s growth.
“We want to grow in parallel with the market for alternatives to cars. It is therefore time for C-Tec to benefit from an external look from a more experienced and considerate person”, explains the CEO.
Réseau Entreprendre will bring C-Tec in contact with another CEO from the network who will be the company’s new mentor. For two or three hours each month, the new ‘godfather’ will give free advice to the young company.
“I want to take this opportunity to give C-Tec a better vision and better development tools, whether it’s in term of management, human resources, strategy or something else. Until now, I was alone to develop the company. An external considerate eye will be very useful”, ends Michel Lagasse
